Sono nato il 28 settembre 1974 ed ho acquistato la mia prima macchina fotografica, una splendida Nikon FM, nel 1993. Da allora ho iniziato a sperimentare questa splendida passione, attraversando tutte le fasi tipiche di chi si avvicina all’arte della fotografia..inizialmente con macro e paesaggi, alla ricerca del proprio genere e del proprio stile, tentando anche di acquisire le basi tecniche necessarie (oggi considerate erroneamente meno utili rispetto ai tempi della pellicola ma, in realtà, ancora molto importanti). Inizialmente scattavo con pellicola BN, principalmente Ilford, ma poi con il tempo ho conosciuto una signora di nome “velvia 50″, e da allora non me ne sono più separato…i tempi cambiano però, e nel 2005 ho deciso di passare interamente al digitale. Ad oggi sono molto soddisfatto di questa scelta che ritengo fondamentale (per non dire obbligatoria) per chi vuole affrontare il difficilissimo mondo del professionismo, e non solo. Adoro la fotografia di reportage, la fotografia che riesce prima di tutto ad emozionare e, contemporaneamente, raccontare una storia ed uso senza compromessi questo stile e questo genere anche nella fotografia di cerimonia. Sono membro delle più importanti associazioni al mondo di wedding photojournalist (WPJA , ISPWP , FEARLESS e BEST OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY in ambito internazionale ed ANFM in ambito Nazionale) e solo nel 2012 sono state oltre 40 le mie opere premiate in ambito nazionale ed internazionale. Inoltre, sempre nel 2012, sono entrato fra i primi 20 fotografi al mondo nel contest Summer ISPWP. Sono stato premiato nel 2013 Dall’associazione ANFM con il premio “Matrimonio dell’anno” , Potete vedere il matrimonio premiato come il miglior matrimonio d’Italia 2012 nel mio sito, in real wedding , matrimonio Linn e Tommy.
I was born on 28 September 1974 and I bought my first camera, a lovely Nikon FM, in 1993. From then on, I’ve started to live and experience this beautiful passion getting through all those different stages that are typical and basic when we want to approach ourselves to the art of photography. At the beginning I took landscape and macro pictures looking for my own style and also looking for a kind of photography that could be congenial to me. I also tried to learn all those technical basis that, in my opinion , are extemely important and necessary even if , nowadays, they are considered less useful in comparison with the time we used the film. Initially, I took pictures with black and white films which were mainly Ilford; then things began to change especially when I “met” and started to use a film named Velvia 50; from that moment on we never left each other! Times have changed so, in 2005, I decided to choose digital photography; nowadays I’m completely satisfied of my choice because I believe that digital photography is fundamental for those who want to turn to professional which is a very difficult field or , they simply have an amateur interest in photography. I really love reportage photography because it is able to touch the observer and, at the same time, it tells a story; I use this kind of photography also for ceremony shoots.I am a member of the most important wedding photojournalist associations the world ( WPJA, ISPWP , FEARLESS and BEST OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ). In 2012 my winning photos were about 40 both in national and international Contests. Ever in 2012 I have been included in the top 20 photographers in the world in the summer ispwp contest. I won in 2013 the award “ANFM Wedding of the Year”, you can see the wedding awarded as the best marriage in Italy in 2012 on my website, real wedding gallery , Tommy and Linn wedding.
