It’s always a pleasure when an Italian couple asks me to photograph their wedding: first of all, because I am Italian, and Italy is my beautiful country, and then because Italians show their emotions very clearly, which suits my photographic style perfectly. Giulia and Samuele are from Tuscany, they live in the town where I was born, Montevarchi. The sum of these elements made this wedding particularly special for me, as special as Giulia and Samuele. I knew many of the guests, so it was a great pleasure to be both photographer and good friend of so many people there. The weather was unusual, to say the least. Pouring rain the entire day, but as you can see in these photos, Giulia, Federico, and all their wonderful friends and relatives had great fun, making it an incredibly emotional wedding. The ceremony took place in the wonderful frame of villa Masini, which is where in 1997 Roberto Benigni shot several scenes of the Oscar-winning movie “Life is beautiful”. Stiatti Fiori (www.stiattifiori.it) managed the floral arrangements with their typical expertise, while Lodovichi Ricevimenti (www.italiantastelodovichi.it) organized the catering impeccably.
