Directly from the UK to Tuscany, for their wedding Ellie and Calum selected a venue I adore and am lucky enough to visit often, Terre di Nano, nestled in one of the most iconic areas of Tuscany, Val d’Orcia. The view you enjoy from this venue can literally leave you breathless. Ellie and Calum’s day was a little undecided weather-wise. Sunny at first, then rainy, and sunny again. Despite the weather, our couple did not stop smiling and had a great time with all the friends who followed them to celebrate their big day. The ceremony was held by the wonderful Sofia from Tuscan Pledges (www.tuscanpledges.com) , and ToscOana Flowers (www.toscoanaflowers.com) majestically took care of the flower arrangements. As usual, I would like to thank Ilaria from Terre di Nano (www.terredinano.com) for the excellent management of the entire event. And special thanks go to the great photographer Sara Lorenzoni (www.saralorenzoni.it) who helped me in this wonderful wedding. We couldn’t recommend Andrea more! We selected Andrea based on a combination of a recommendation from our celebrant (Tuscan Pledges) and his particularly inspiring portfolio online. When he offered to meet us at our venue in the months preceding the wedding we knew we’d found someone who not only takes great photos, but who also wants to get to know the couple and build a personal relationship. On the day we found Andrea to be organised, respectful and subtle. We liked his emphasis on enjoying the day and capturing photos naturally instead of making poses or trying to create the right scene. We had a quick formal session after the ceremony to capture family photos, but other than that we were focused on enjoying the day. We couldn’t be more happy with how the photos turned out, it tells the story of our wedding day perfectly and if we may say so ourselves, the image of the iconic hills behind Terre di Nano under a dramatic sky and the umbrellas of all of our guests might just be his best yet 😉
