Carmen and Marc’s wedding celebrations began with a wonderful pizza party welcome dinner in Tuscany, held at the beautiful Il Verreno, a stunning countryside estate located between Siena and Florence.

This relaxed and joyful evening welcomed friends and family who had traveled from Germany and other parts of Europe to celebrate the couple. A welcome dinner in true Italian style is one of the most beautiful ways to begin a destination wedding in Tuscany, and Carmen and Marc’s pizza party perfectly captured that atmosphere. Earlier that day, Carmen and Marc also enjoyed a romantic engagement session in Loro Ciuffenna, exploring the village together with their beautiful Australian Shepherd Thora.

The evening was beautifully styled and organized by Con Amore Weddings, who created a warm and elegant setting in the gardens of the estate. Long tables, soft lights, and a relaxed countryside atmosphere made the entire evening feel intimate and welcoming.

Before the guests fully settled into the celebration, Carmen and Marc decided to enjoy a short engagement-style photo session around the property, together with their beloved Australian Shepherd, Thora. Including their dog was a natural choice for them, and Tuscany is a wonderfully dog-friendly destination for couples who want their four-legged family members to be part of their wedding story.

After the photos, the celebration truly began. Guests gathered around the outdoor space, enjoying freshly made pizza, local wine, laughter, and the warm Tuscan evening. The atmosphere was informal and authentic, exactly what a pizza party welcome dinner should be.
