Micro wedding in the heart of Tuscany: where intimacy becomes everything
This wedding took place during the COVID period, in 2021. At the time, restrictions were incredibly tough, but they also revealed something meaningful about weddings: smaller celebrations can be just as beautiful, if not more. It became clear that an unforgettable day doesn’t require 200 guests , sometimes, a few truly important people are more than enough.
Angela and Greg traveled all the way from Canada to make their dream come true despite the challenges of that time. And in the end, everything came together beautifully in this stunning Tuscan venue.
This wonderful couple chose to celebrate their wedding with a micro wedding of just 8 guests at Casa Cornacchi, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Tuscan countryside. Their day felt effortless and deeply personal , an intimate gathering shaped by genuine connections, meaningful moments, and the freedom to slow down.
The weather couldn’t have been better, with that warm, golden Tuscan light gently wrapping every scene and giving the entire day a timeless atmosphere. There was no rush, no pressure , just the space to fully experience each moment as it unfolded.
Why micro weddings feel more meaningful
Micro weddings have become increasingly popular, and for good reason. Choosing a smaller guest list isn’t about limiting the experience , it’s about refining it.
With fewer people:
every relationship truly matters
the atmosphere becomes calm and intimate
there’s more time to live the day, not manage it
every detail can be more intentional and personal
Angela and Greg created a wedding that reflected who they are, without compromise. A day where nothing felt forced, and everything had space to breathe. Getting married with a small group brings the focus back to what really matters: not the scale of the event, but the depth of the experience.
